Tranquility Base Here…. The Eagle Has Landed

On this day in 1969, Apollo 11 roared off the launch pad, headed towards the Moon and History. In honor of this still inspiring epic achievement I’ve created a scale and very detailed model of an Apollo landing site. Now, I may call this model Tranquility Base, but it is not. In honor of ALL the Apollo missions, I wanted to add something that only a few selection mission had – the moon buggy!  This one seats both astronauts and even folds up and can be stowed in the decent stage of the lunar module!  This set will hopefully be able to be downloaded or purchased on the Lego Design By Me Gallery in the next day or so. Enjoy!
